We Are Proud Of You!

Hello Team Elevate! When thinking about the tournament this past weekend, there are so many positives! One of our main goals for our guys has been to get them to the point where they are confident that they can compete against high school players next year. Well, our guys got the opportunity to do that a few months earlier than expected! We played against the Garfield Palouse Varsity, Logos Varsity, Wolfpack (who added a high school player) and the Oakesdale JV team. Even though our final record ended up being 1-3, when looking at the games more closely, we won 75% of the minutes we played this weekend! Character is revealed in times of adversity and we couldn't be more proud of how our all-eighth grade team competed against guys that were bigger, stronger, and sometimes 4 years older and 8 inches taller than us! :-)

The only disappointing news to report is that we are going to hit the pause button for the next few weeks because many of our guys have school sports starting and/or family trips planned. We encourage our guys to keep putting "hay in the barn" through their own individual training, but we won't have an official practice again until Tuesday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 13. Our next tournaments that we are hoping to play in are:
April 16-18 in Lewiston and then May 7-8 in Boise or May 14-15 in Boise. Please email coach Andy and let him know if your son is available for these weekends - it will help us decide which tournaments to sign up for.

Thank you again for all your love and support! It is such a blessing to see how much our guys have improved and that they will be ready to compete at the next level! We look forward to the next opportunity for our guys to compete at a high level and can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for the next two tournaments!

God bless and Go Elevate!!

-Coach Andy, Brandon, and Tim
