Hello Team Elevate! It was great to get back in the gym for practice last night and we are looking forward to a great tournament this Sunday and Monday! Here is our schedule:

Sunday 1/17 Game vs. Valley Elite 2:35 pm at Lewiston HS Court 3. Please be at the gym 2:10 and wear black. We will have a short pregame talk outside the gym doors before going in.
Sunday 1/17 Game vs. Triple City Ballers 7:25 pm at Lewiston HS Court 2. Please be at the gym 7:00 pm and wear black. We will have a short pregame talk outside the gym doors before going in.
Monday 1/18 Team breakfast and film in conference room of hotel from 9:30-11:00 am.
Monday 1/18 Game vs. Hells Canyon Heat 12:05 pm at Jenifer Jr. HS. Please be at the gym 11:40 and wear white. We will have a short pregame talk outside the gym doors before going in.
Monday 1/18 Game vs. TBD. If we get first place in our pool, we will play at 2:10 pm at Booth Hall vs. the winner of Pool 4. If we get second place in our pool, we will play at 3:10 pm at Lewiston HS Court 1 vs. the second place team from Pool 4. Please be at the gym 25 minutes prior to game time for a short pregame talk outside the gym doors before going in.
Monday 1/18 Game vs. TBD If we get first place in our pool, we will play a 5th game for 1st-4th place in the tournament! If we win our 4th game, we will play for the championship at 5:10 pm on Lewiston HS Court 1. If we lose our 4th game, we will play for 3rd/4th place at 4:45 pm on Lewiston HS Court 3.

Here is a message from the tournament director for all coaches and spectators to read before the tournament:
1. Spectator and Admission rules are same for 4-8th girls and boys. 9 total people ( 5 spectators, 3 coaches and 1 scorekeeper). High School Game attendance rules have been changed to reflect Idaho's new guidelines. Rest assured, when we are allowed to add more spectators to our 4th-8th grade games we will make it happen. We will be counting attendance for team as they enter the gym. Games will not start until all admission rules are abided by. In our last tourney we had many incidents where extra fans had to be removed from the gym. This delays the games and causes unneeded conflict when our gym monitors have to remove additional people. If this problem becomes consistent attendance privileges will be revoked for offending teams.
2. Reminder: masks must be always on everyone except when a player is on the court playing.
Scorekeeper will run score clock when your team is the visiting team and keep book for both teams when you are the home team.
3. We understand that coaches want to meet with their players after a game however we ask that do meet outside so we can disinfect the gym to allow the next team to enter. Please help support us during this time and quickly exit.

The last detail for the tournament is cost. The tournament fee is $382 per team and we have 8 players going so that is $45 per player for the tournament fee (it's actually more, but Tim said $45 is fine - thank you Coach Tim!) Please pay this to Coach Tim outside the gym before the first game. Coach Tim will also be handling the spectator fee, so if you could text him (509-220-1332) before this weekend with your family's plan for spectators that would be great! Each player gets one spectator and the cost will be $10, just like our last Lewiston tournament. He will also get together with our spectators outside of the gym before our first game to pay the tournament director like we did last tournament (also, if you forgot to pay Coach Andy $10 for the gym rental/ref fee for our game vs. Gunshow in Troy or $2 to show thanks to Valley Forth Memorial Church for allowing us to practice last night, you can pay him outside the gym before our first game as well).
