Hello Team Elevate! We were holding out hope that yesterday's Covid case would be a false positive, but that is not the case. So, we are officially postponing the games that were supposed to take place tomorrow in Troy, Idaho. The plan now is to play games on Thursday, January 7 vs. Logos and Gunshow from 3:30-4:20 pm and 4:30-5:20 pm. This will be a great tune-up for our next tournament, which is the following weekend - January 15-16!

We will make our Team Elevate Christmas Party a Team Elevate New Year's Party and have it on Tuesday, January 5 from 3:30-5:30 pm at The Mattson's house.

We are still working on finding a gym to practice in, so please keep December 29 and 31 open if possible. We are hoping to keep our Tuesday/Thursday schedule from 3:30-5:30 pm, so try to keep 1/12, 1/14, 1/19, 1/21, etc. open as well.

Finally, in the last two practices we put in a new man-to-man offense. Right now, it is the most popular offense in the NBA - run by the Warriors, Rockets, Lakers, Blazers, Jazz, Clippers, Suns, Raptors, etc. It gives us great spacing, great movement and every player is a scoring option! If we can't meet for two weeks, it would be helpful for your son to watch this video a few times to make sure he deepens his understanding of the offense - just like he would be if we could be practicing in the next two weeks. In addition to watching the video, can you encourage your son to work on his conditioning and shooting over break as well? Remind him that we will have a tournament after break and if we want to be a top-level team, we will need to keep growing in our conditioning and shooting!
